Cantilever and other parking shade designs
Single and double cantilever designs are available alongside pyramid, arch, cone and sail or tensile structures. The right arrangement depends on the number of rows, site boundaries and how vehicles enter and leave the spaces.
If the design has already been specified, share the drawing. For an open brief, tell us which areas must remain clear and whether future parking changes need to be considered.
Choose the covering and steel finish
Fabric options include HDPE, PVC-coated polyester, PTFE and PVDF-coated fabric. Polycarbonate, metal sheets and sandwich panels are also available for suitable roof designs.
Steel can be painted, powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized. Where a marine-grade coating is specified, we review APCS 6 or an accepted equivalent against the project requirement. We confirm the selected covering and finish in the quotation.
What affects the price and installation programme
The covered area, number of bays, span, support layout, material, coating and site access all affect the scope. Tell us whether excavation and foundations will be carried out by your civil contractor or should be included for review.
At an operating car park, identify the bays that can be closed and the available working hours. Site visits, quotation timing and installation dates are confirmed after project review.
Fabric replacement and parking shade repairs
We also review existing shades for fabric replacement and repairs. Send photographs of the covering, frame and damaged areas. The existing structure needs to be reviewed before the replacement scope is confirmed.
Parking shade warranty
Warranty periods range from 10 to 15 years according to structure type. The applicable coverage and terms are stated in your quotation.
