No. Dimensions follow the actual parking bays, vehicle types, roof projection and approved layout. Preliminary sizes shown in planning guides are discussion references, not mandatory dimensions or substitutes for project design.

Covered area, structural span, quantity, covering, steel protection, civil scope, access and project location all affect the quotation. We review these details before pricing; one rate cannot represent every project.

HDPE means high-density polyethylene. Ordinary knitted shade cloth provides solar shade while allowing airflow and some water penetration. Confirm the selected grade, colour and manufacturer data; the material name alone does not establish UV performance, strength or fire classification.

It is a polyester base fabric with a PVC coating, used in suitable membrane structures. Performance depends on the full construction, coating, reinforcement and seams. The specified product data and roof design must support the intended use.

PVC can be the coating over a textile base such as polyester; PVDF can be a surface finish on a compatible coated membrane. The supplied Naizil Type 3 sheet identifies PVC coating with PVDF lacquer on the top side. Confirm the complete named product rather than comparing the labels alone.

PTFE is polytetrafluoroethylene. Architectural membranes often use PTFE-coated glass fabric, but product constructions differ. Suitability, permeability, fire performance and structural properties must be reviewed for the proposed membrane rather than assumed from the PTFE label.

Ordinary HDPE shade cloth is typically knitted and permeable. PVC-coated polyester and PTFE-based products have different membrane constructions. PVDF usually names a surface finish on a compatible membrane. Compare the actual products for airflow, water coverage, fire documentation, tensioning and maintenance.

There is no single choice for every site. Identify whether the priority is ventilated shade, rain coverage, appearance or a consultant specification. We review suitable covering options with the canopy geometry, exposure and manufacturer data; no fixed temperature reduction is promised.

These options can be reviewed for suitable applications. The support arrangement, panel specification, fixings, joints and drainage must suit the chosen system. A rigid roof is not automatically the correct choice for every parking area.

Yes. Share the preferred colour, sample or consultant specification. Availability depends on the selected covering and finish; confirm the actual product and colour in the quotation rather than relying on a website image.

Identify the manufacturer and product grade, intended application, mechanical properties, UV data, water performance, applicable fire documentation and maintenance instructions. Review these with the structural design and project requirements, rather than comparing fabric weight alone.

We use GALE HDPE shade fabrics, including Commercial 95 with a nominal mass of 340 gsm, Commercial Heavy 430 at 430 gsm, and Commercial NinetyFive 340 FR at 340 gsm. Availability, colour and suitability are confirmed for the project. Fabric weight alone does not determine the right choice.

The supplied Commercial Heavy 430 product profile states a 15-year warranty against UV degradation of the fabric. It is not a blanket warranty for the whole shade structure. Applicable manufacturer conditions and coverage are provided with the agreed supply.

The supplied Commercial 95 and Commercial NinetyFive 340 FR documents state a 10-year warranty against fabric UV degradation. The warranty is product-specific and subject to the manufacturer's written terms; the fire-rated designation does not extend it to 15 years.

For the PVC option we supply, Umbrella Tent & Shades confirms a 10-year manufacturer warranty passed on to the customer, subject to the applicable written terms. The supplied Panama technical sheet does not state the period, so request the manufacturer's warranty terms with your quotation. Fabric coverage does not automatically include steel, installation or every cause of damage.

No. Warranty periods and coverage depend on the manufacturer and product. The supplied 2017 Naizil Type 3 preliminary sheet prints 12 years without full terms; current product and warranty documentation must be confirmed before it becomes a quotation commitment.

No. Some coverings provide shade and ventilation while allowing rain through. Where waterproof coverage is needed, the selected membrane or roofing, seams, edges, slope and drainage must form a suitable system. Specify rain protection when requesting a quotation.

Standard knitted HDPE shade fabric is not a completely waterproof roof. If rain coverage is required, tell us during the inquiry so a suitable covering, seams, roof geometry and drainage can be reviewed together. Fire-rated status does not establish waterproofing.

A suitable PVC-coated polyester membrane can be specified for waterproof coverage. Its seams, perimeter details, tension and roof geometry must also be suitable, with drainage arranged to avoid water collection. Confirm the particular product and completed roof requirements in the quotation.

A waterproof sheet alone does not establish the performance of an installed roof. Seams and edges need appropriate detailing, and geometry must direct runoff to agreed drainage points. Consider entrances, walking routes and neighbouring areas when planning where water will discharge.

No. The supplied 340 FR profile describes flame-retardant fabric and lists CSFM 1237.1 and NFPA 701 compliance. Obtain current certificates for the selected product and the project's requirements. This does not establish a fire-resistance rating for the complete canopy or approval for every application. Do not expose the fabric to direct flames.

Yes. Send the required performance and any consultant specification at the inquiry stage. The selected covering, relevant documentation and scope can then be reviewed before acceptance. Do not assume waterproofing or a fire classification from a generic fabric description.

They follow project-specific engineering, including spans, canopy geometry, design loads, support positions and covering. Connections and foundations are part of the same review. We do not use one steel size or grade as a universal specification for every shade.

No. Hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating and protective paint systems are available options, selected according to the project specification and exposure. The quotation should identify the agreed system; do not assume that all finishing methods are applied together.

It is a process that coats prepared steel with zinc by immersion in molten zinc. Suitability and detailing are reviewed for the fabricated components and project requirements. Galvanizing does not remove the need to consider connections, damage repair, inspection and maintenance.

Yes, where suitable for the agreed specification. The coating product, substrate preparation and application process must suit outdoor exposure. Colour alone does not describe corrosion protection, and powder coating is not automatically combined with galvanizing on every project.

Preparation follows the selected protection system and steel condition. Abrasive blasting may be specified for a protective coating; other processes may require different preparation. The project documents should state the required preparation and application conditions rather than assuming blasting is always included.

Review the actual exposure, client specification, substrate preparation, compatible coating layers and maintenance requirements. A coastal or industrial location may need additional consideration, but the city name alone does not establish a corrosion category or paint system.

Exposure and access for inspection help determine a practical protection system. Edges, connections, damaged coatings and drainage details also need attention. Any service-life statement must relate to the agreed product and conditions; no finish is maintenance-free in every environment.

Yes, subject to project-specific engineering. The design must consider the applicable wind requirements, location and exposure together with the canopy dimensions, configuration, steel, connections and foundations. No single wind rating applies automatically to every shade.

Where required and technically confirmed for the particular project, structures can be engineered for specified design conditions such as 120 km/h, 140 km/h or up to 180 km/h. These are not automatic ratings. The engineer must confirm the wind definition, site exposure, dimensions, steel sections, connections and foundations before a rating is stated in project documents.

Provide the site location, proposed layout, dimensions, covering and complete consultant requirement. The engineer must confirm the applicable design basis and any site or foundation information needed. A speed quoted without its definition and design context is not a complete structural specification.

Yes. A different membrane can change permeability, tensioning and load transfer. Review the existing frame, connections, foundations and proposed covering before changing material. A replacement fabric does not automatically upgrade an existing shade’s wind performance.

Responsibility is agreed per project. These works may be included in our scope or assigned to the client’s civil contractor. The written quotation must identify the responsible party and the interfaces with the shade installation.

This can be reviewed subject to access and site conditions. Tell us which bays, entrances and walking routes must remain usable, along with permitted working hours. The agreed sequence must allow the necessary installation activities.
