Include exposure and coating requirements
For a site with coastal exposure, send any specified coating requirement with the inquiry. We offer several steel finishes and can review marine-grade coating systems where required.
Fabric options include HDPE, PVC-coated polyester, PTFE and PVDF-coated fabric. Polycarbonate, metal sheets and sandwich panels can also be considered for suitable roof designs.
Agree the programme around the operating site
Tell us about deliveries, guest or resident access, permitted working hours and your target completion date. Foundations and excavation are agreed per project, including work assigned to your civil contractor.

Share the actual exposure and written coating requirement. Steel protection, surface preparation, connection details and future inspection should be considered together. No city-wide corrosion rating or service life is assumed.
Can PVC or suitable rigid roofing be reviewed for waterproof coverage?
Yes. We compare suitable products against the required rain coverage and structure. Joints, edges, roof falls and discharge points matter as well as the covering, particularly where runoff could affect entrances or neighbouring spaces.
Can pool and pedestrian shade be planned with the parking layout?

Can old fabric be replaced without replacing the entire frame?
Possibly. The existing steel, connections and dimensions must be checked, along with the proposed replacement membrane. Send photographs for an initial review; retaining the frame is a decision made after assessment.
