Begin with location and intended use
State the project city, the part of the site to be covered and how the area is used. A live school, industrial facility and private parking area require different access planning.
Provide dimensions or bay quantities
For parking, include the number of bays, row arrangement and approximate bay dimensions. For pools, playgrounds and courtyards, mark the coverage area and any obstacles or equipment that affect support positions.
Identify material and finish requirements
Attach the relevant specification when one exists. If the material is open, explain whether the priority is solar shade, rain cover, appearance or a particular roof system.
Clarify civil work and access
State whether foundations and excavation should be included or handled by the client's civil contractor. Note restricted working hours, permits, controlled entry and areas that must remain operational.
Set a realistic next step
Include your target completion date, but expect survey, quotation and installation timing to be confirmed after review. A complete inquiry helps the contractor identify missing information quickly.
